Q: Do I have to have all the buffers the same colour?

A: No, it's your model, if you want white at one end and plain grease at the other for example, just tick the options and add a note for us in the comments box.

Q: If I send a crew will you fit them and is there a charge?

A: Yes we will fit them, if they are already painted there is no charge. Although please note it is not always possible to fit crews in some loco's.

 

Q: Will you fit aftermarket detail kits?

A: these are subject to time available, please contact us to check first.

 

Q: How do I pay for my weathering?

A: We accept personal cheques, Paypal, bank transfer and debit card via phonecall. We advise that if you send cash you send it special signed for delivery. We accept no responsibility for items lost in the post.

 

Q: How long before I get my items back?

A: We try to return your items within 6-8 weeks (For an average order of QTY 2 Loco's) however during busy periods this may not be possible. If your item is going to take longer We will contact you via phone or e-mail.

 

Q: My loco didn't come with etched plates but I've bought some aftermarket ones, will you fit them?

A: Yes, there is no charge to fit etched plates to an already same named loco with a weathering commission, if you do not want weathering carried out a charge will be applicable. We charge for re-numbering and re-naming.


Q: Do you do resprays?

A: Yes, but this is subject to additional cost depending on loco type and complexity,  This also depends on time available due to our current work load. Please contact us first.

 

Q: My loco has been weathered already but not very well, can you correct it?

A: Possibly, this depends on how bad it is and what has been done, please contact us first.

 

Q: If I have a problem what can I do?

A: Please contact us immediately and we will endeavour to correct any concerns you may have.
